Say Yes to Jesus

Christians are to have an insatiable appetite for Jesus. Jesus is the source of all our virtues, including wisdom, righteousness, and holiness. The only place we can find true holiness is in Him. To overcome temptation, we need to learn to use it as a catalyst to draw closer to and give thanks to Jesus.

All of us, including the apostle Paul, have to fight sin constantly. Only by combining it with other strengths can we hope to defeat temptation. Instead, we must depend on God’s grace and say yes to Jesus. Jesus is our victory over every temptation, addiction, and bondage.

When we are faced with temptation, we must look to Jesus and see the cross. Renewing our acquaintance with His mercy and grace is essential. All of our freedom from wrong behavior can be traced back to Jesus.

According to 2 Corinthians 3:14, 18 holiness is defined as an increasing likeness to Jesus. When we believe in Him, the veil of the law is removed, and we see our glorious Savior face-to-face. To be sure, the gospel of grace always results in gorgeous lives, and His glorious grace changes us from glory to glory.

Let us ask God for a deeper understanding of His immense love for us and His faultless sacrifice on Calvary. May our radiance and glorification as a result of fixing our gaze upon Jesus increase and multiply as we bear witness to His goodness. Let Jesus into your heart, and let His grace change you completely.
